1… go,” the athlete may pick up the barbell and perform
8 ground-to-overheads then 10 bar-facing burpees for
10 rounds.
The athlete’s score will be the total time it takes to
complete the entire workout or the total number of
repetitions completed before the 15-minute time cap.

20.1. 153. Rx.
Not doing the open this year, but got after what I could today.
153 reps.
65# snatches (all unbroken)
One arm burpees and jumps over the barbell.
20.1. 108 (6 rounds), scaled at 55#
This was my first time doing an open workout. I tried 65# during the warmup, succeeded, but knew I couldn’t get 8 unbroken. 55# was a good challenge today. Thank you Tyler for encouraging me to push to complete the 6th round.
Way to get after it JD!
20.1 156 masters Rx 65#
Nice change lifting ♀️weights this morning but I’ld rather be 30# lighter on the burpees 🤣
Fun to do this with Deb! 121 RX
20.1: 120Rx Thank you Ilana for being a fantastic judge! Glad I could set the bar high for you 🙂 Though I am pleased with my effort and my score, I will go after this one again on Monday as I believe there is room for a few more reps…and every rep counts! Thanks Hanna for bringing that extra energy to the 5:30am class 🙂
Rx masters 55+. #65
For anyone doing this workout, if you have an interest in data, ask your judge to note your split times (clock time after every completed set of burpees). Ilana did this for me and I also noted her times so that I could have another set of data. We finished this workout with 1 rep between us, but when I look at the data, I can see where I could focus on making some changes next time. It can be pretty fascinating to see. For example, I can see that in my first round, I was 14 seconds faster (this is not meant to be a comparison between us, but more of a comparison of our split time) while in round 6 (our last completed round) Ilana’s split time was 19 seconds faster than mine. I now have some insight into how I can approach this next time.

Let your judge worry about counting and focus on maintaining a good pace. Good luck tonight!
Not sure 🤔 why I posted under Ilana’s comment? Lack of oxygen probably
162 rx . Worked like heck those last 30 seconds to get in that 9th round!
