Burton Leon Reynolds Jr. (February 11, 1936 – September 6, 2018) was an American actor, director and producer. He first rose to prominence starring in television series such as Gunsmoke (1962–1965), Hawk (1966), and Dan August (1970–1971).
His breakout film role was as Lewis Medlock in Deliverance (1972). Reynolds played the leading role in a number of subsequent box office hits, such as The Longest Yard (1974), Smokey and the Bandit (1977), Semi-Tough (1977), Hooper (1978), Smokey and the Bandit II (1980), The Cannonball Run (1981) and The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas (1982).
After a few box office failures, Reynolds returned to television, starring in the sitcom Evening Shade (1990–1994). He was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his performance in Boogie Nights (1997).[2][3][4]

CFS Brief:
CFS Barbell club starting Saturday, September 8th 10:30am. If you are interested in joining please show up on Saturday and I will take you through a demo session, This club is meant for someone that has been Cross Fitting for at least 6 months with a basic understanding of the Olympic lifts. We will be working on the Olympic lifts and core strength movements, back squat, front squat, dead lift and STOH. This is not meant to take the place of your daily WOD. There will be a small monthly fee for the club.
- In-house Throwdown Saturday, 11/3/18
- Registration opens at 7:30am. Athlete’s meeting at 8:00am. First heat goes off at 8:30am.
- Teams of 2 either male/male or female/female with RX and Scaled Divisions
- Cost per athlete is $29 (includes t-shirt for men and tank top for women – please specify shirt size when registering)
- Athletes will register and list their division, RX or Scaled. (Please see the criteria below.) The coaching staff will then pair up the teams accordingly.

“Burpee the Plank” EMOM30 Endurance WOD: Odd Minute 10 Burpees Even Minute 30 Second Plank. Great WOD for when you are away. The gym here is actually not bad so should be able to do today’s workout tomorrow 😬

This was was tough if you didn’t get your weight right. Split my cleans into sets of 7 and the push jerks into sets of 5/4.
85# max power clean In the warm-up which was a 15# increase over my last max. Felt good with that PR!
