Double unders…today was NOT the day, but thank you to Ryan for taking a few minutes to support my theory on why I have such an issue with them. It’s not my jump, it’s my hands and I don’t know how to fix that. The drumming analogy is great, though I am not a drummer, but will work on practicing that movement 🙂 Sometimes it takes a village…And a big thanks to Frozen for tossing in the calorie bike “penalty” (and to Melissa for being my partner!) for Rowling. Loved it.
TGU: 55#
Longmire:19:59 (500m row, 40# DB snatch, 50 DU)
DB clean to OH: 25# (can’t do TGU’s due to lack of knee mobility)
Longmire: 17something (5:30am brain freeze today) 20# DB Snatch | 100 singles
Happy with my singles today – apparently the rope makes a difference. It’s always something to be next to Ryan and watch him fly through, well, everything. I find it motivating and also appreciated the tip on keeping my back flat on the snatches. It does take a village!
Performance of the day! Great finish!
Bike was not a penalty it was bonus fitness!
Call it what you will 🙂 Regardless, I did it with a smile. Next time can we do bike-wall balls? I think that would be fun.
