Beginning on an 8-minute clock, complete as many reps as possible of:
25 toes-to-bars
50 double-unders
15 squat cleans, 135 lb.
25 toes-to-bars
50 double-unders
13 squat cleans, 185 lb.
If completed before 8 minutes, add 4 minutes to the clock and proceed to:
25 toes-to-bars
50 double-unders
11 squat cleans, 225 lb.
If completed before 12 minutes, add 4 minutes to the clock and proceed to:
25 toes-to-bars
50 double-unders
9 squat cleans, 275 lb.
If completed before 16 minutes, add 4 minutes to the clock and proceed to:
25 toes-to-bars
50 double-unders
7 squat cleans, 315 lb.
Stop at 20 minutes.

100 Rx (55+) – back to reality with 19.2. Took me ages to do 50 doubles one at a time with a single in between but I did them! Thanks Ted for judging and keeping me honest on the last three TTB misses. Well done Deb on the dubs too! Great coaching as usual Hanna!

19.2: 79 Rx Yes, you read that right…I got THROUGH the 50 double unders!! I went into this workout figuring that I would not get much more than the 25 TTB and wound up getting in 4 squat cleans. This is proof that miracles DO happen 🙂
I finished my TTB in 42 seconds and then finished my doubles at 7:31. This was way more than I expected to do. A BIG thank you to Becka for being a patient and very supportive judge (I know she did not expect to have to count past 25!) and thanks to everyone else in the 5:30am who shared in the joy of my getting not one, not two, but 50 double unders!! And of course a big thank you to Hanna for getting us prepped and ready to go!

Had about 2 seconds to spare but not enough time to get to the bar to start Round 3. Since I’m not registered and it was just about 6:30 I didn’t bother to go for it. I didn’t do this last year as I was recovering from surgery so I was hesitant to register this year not knowing what it was all about. Now that I know, I’ll do it next year! It was fun being next to Deb – the excitement over the dubs distracted me from how awful the squat cleans felt although surprisingly round 2 felt better than round 1!
